I am slowly plotting my return to writing more, after over a year of mental fog and fatigue, carrying, birthing twins🙏🏾. What an unforgettable journey and gift.

We recently celebrated the blessing of reaching the all important 6 months milestone, which means more mummy freedom as I am no longer the primary source of sustenance, phew😅. I bless Mother Nature for this gift.

Last week I went on my first business trip since April 2023. I was six months pregnant then, worried about what I will eat to sustain me during those low appetite long hour days on the road working for the cause for digital financial inclusion in the One Africa Market. This time, I was worried about expressing and saving breastmilk for my babies and it was quite the adventure.

Thankfully, the universe answered my prayers for my helpers to find me and me to find them. Good Samaritan champions offered their offices, freezers and drivers when I forgot my ice packs and needed to swiftly navigate the high security week to save babies’. And an angel on the morning of came to the rescue with freezer bag to carry nearly 5 liters back home to my babies as the little igloo I carried was no match for what mother nature had gifted.

The kindness and support of these Pan Africans watered my faith in humanity and made me forget the long days & nights spent waiting for another baby a small team of Pan Africans have been nurturing, AfCFTA protocol on Digital Trade. Impossible is truly nothing when we collaborate and support one another. Eternally grateful.

In the coming days and months, you will hear more on this new baby, who will require our ENTIRE village of 1.4 billion people to deliver. And deliver we must for us all to reap the rewards of an inclusive One African Market.

Stay tuned.
