Today, I attended the commissioning of the 6th class of the Bridge2Rwanda Scholars program.  What an exciting afternoon!  39 students celebrate an end of an intensive 16 month program and the beginning of the next 4 years in Universities abroad.  They’ve all worked hard with support of great instructors through college preparation and ALL admitted with full scholarships to attain a good education.

As a mentor to some of the scholars in this program I live for these moments where I get to witness happiness and greatness among Rwandan youth and their counterparts from the neighborhood Burundi, DRC and South Sudan.  The joy of seeing this comradory and example of TEAMWORK is something I words can’t express. God is truly FAITHFUL.

May this spirit of TOGETHERNESS carry you forward as you journey to the next chapter of your lives.  I pray you carry your flags proudly and shine a bright light on your family, communities, countries and our beautiful continent.

Onward and Upward Bridge2Rwanda.
